Every year, at the bursary interviews, I hear the stories of needy students, their challenges, their hopes and their dreams. I am inspired by their desire to better themselves despite their challenging circumstances. And I come away motivated to find the next $25,000 for another sub-named bursary to help one more student

The Micron Foundation Scholarship has provided me an opportunity to explore my passions and interests. I am grateful to be able to receive this scholarship and it is an honor to be a recipient. The scholarship affirms the effort that I have put into my studies and it definitely spurs my motivation to work harder and contribute meaningfully to society in the future.

The Kathleen Koh Seok Hoon Scholarship inspired me to do good in my future profession. Thank you to Ms Koh for the motivation, her close friends and family for building the scholarship and BMT Asia Pacific for administering it.  I am truly humbled by the experience of meeting the team in London and I aspire to do the same by grooming future leaders when I am successful in my career.

Receiving the Engineering Class of 1982 Bursary has greatly relieved the financial burdens of my university education. It has given me the opportunity to study and pursue my personal interest in performing arts while being worry-free. My donor, Ms Wan Siew Ping has been a great inspiration and similarly, I hope to be a Mechanical Engineer upon graduation and contribute back to Engineering education.
