Associate Head (Student Life)

Chua Dingjuan is a Senior Lecturer teaching at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at National University of Singapore. She is also the Associate of Student Life at ECE since 2019.

Chua Dingjuan received her Ph.D and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from NUS ECE. She was a Research Engineer from 2007 to 2010, and has been pursuing teaching from a Teaching Assistant in ECE since 2011.

She enjoys teaching freshmen courses related to fundamental electrical engineering and digital logic design. Her research interests are in FPGA-based education as well as problem and project based learning. She also conducts pedagogical research and develops tools to enhance teaching and learning in digital systems design courses.

She has also been awarded multiple teaching excellence awards at the faculty/college and at the university level.

She is also passionate about student life and actively works towards creating a vibrant student community at ECE, helming various staff advisory roles for student clubs and groups as well as working with student support at department and college-level for at-risk students.
