Prof. Liu Bin was elected as Fellow of the Singapore National Academy of Science

Founded in 1976, the Singapore National Academy of Science (SNAS) aims to promote the development of science and technologies in Singapore, and to represent the scientific opinions of its members. Since 2011, SNAS started to elect its Fellows.

Provost’s Chair Professor Liu Bin was one of the seven NUS researchers elected as Fellows of SNAS this year. Prof. Liu is NUS Vice President (Research and Technology) and Head of NUS Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. Her research focuses on organic functional materials for energy and biomedical applications. Prof. Liu has received many awards including the 2008 National Science and Technology Young Scientist Award, the 2016 President’s Technology Award, and the 2019 ACS Nano Lectureship Award.
