The Cambridge academic year commences on 1 October and finishes on 30 September each year. The academic calendar consists of three terms (Michaelmas, Lent and Easter) and exams for Part II modules begin on the Monday of week 0 in the Easter term and end not later than the Wednesday of week 2.
You will be doing the Part IIA course while in Cambridge. You must choose ten modules, five in the Michaelmas term and five in the Lent term. At least six must fall within one of the engineering areas. During the second half of the Easter term, all Part IIA students will need to undertake 2 projects.
Do take note that you can only take modules from the Engineering Department and not others.
