A gift of two intelligent robots from Bozhon

Bozhon Precision Industry Technology Co., Ltd (Bozhon) presented two intelligent mobile robotic platforms to NUS Electrical & Computer Engineering (NUS ECE) on 31 October 2018. The handover of the robots in NUS was witnessed by Bozhon Chairman Mr Lv Shaolin and Prof John Thong, Head of the NUS ECE Department.

The intelligent mobile robotic platforms are commercial grade robotic systems that had been deployed for autonomous delivery services at hotels, restaurants, and factory floors. They are equipped with high precision autonomous navigation and positioning system to navigate through narrow spaces.

The donation of the robots will strengthen the research collaborations between Bozhon Research and the NUS ECE Department in the areas of human language technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced robotics. Bozhon and the NUS ECE Department are also exploring joint student internship and research programmes through NUSRI Suzhou.
