Double Major Programmes
As a student in the B.Eng. degree programme, you can pursue a second major in addition to your primary engineering major (i.e., Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical & etc). Details about the general requirements for the double majors can be found via http://www.nus.edu.sg/registrar/undergraduate/specialugprogs.htm . The second major can be from a different Faculty/School. Double Majors are conceived as an opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and capacities with a significant degree of depth by pursuing a second major alongside their primary major. It is possible to complete your B.Eng with Honours degree and a second major within four years.
Engineering students are strongly encouraged to consider the following second major programmes offered by the Business School that are offered for the first time in AY 2007/08:
| Second Major in Management
(Technology) |
This second major is offered by the NUS Business School in conjunction with the Faculty of Engineering. The major will equip Engineering graduates with a good foundation of engineering & technology management principles, and thus better prepare them for careers in R&D, design, manufacturing, consulting, marketing, planning, etc..
