Things to Note |
| |
|
|
1. |
Before applying for a University |
| |
|
| |
Look through the partner's website for an idea of the courses available. DO NOT apply for a University that does not offer suitable courses for you. |
| |
|
|
2. |
Upon selection by the Faculty (after accepting internal offer) |
| |
|
| |
-
Prepare a
study plan and get the necessary
approval for mapping.
-
Read through the
general information page.
-
Wait for an email from the Office of Undergraduate Programmes (OUP) with further instructions on submission of partner U documents.
Students going for semester 2 SEP may be contacted much later than students going for semester 1 SEP.
|
| |
|
|
3. |
Upon submission of necessary documents to OUP |
| |
|
| |
-
Wait for the host university's evaluation; this will take at least
two months.
-
You will be notified once your application results are ready.
For students going for SEP in semester 2, you will be contacted via email sometime during July to September to submit your hardcopy applications.
|
| |
|
|
4. |
Upon receiving acceptance from partner university |
| |
|
| |
-
Make accommodation arrangements (if you have not done so) with the partner.
-
Make visa and travel arrangements.
For Faculty-level Partner University applicants, please contact Ms Yeo Li Qi (engylq@nus.edu.sg) for your SEP selection letter required for visa application. For University-level Partner University applicants, Registrar's Office will mail your SEP selection letter to your mailing address in due time. Please ensure that your mailing address in our database is updated (see
point 5).
-
Take down the NUS Campus Security Hot Line number: +65 65161616 in case of emergency while you are overseas.
Your student status will be updated according to your status in OPAS. Once you are on SEP status in that particular semester, you will be unable to bid for modules through CORS. Please ensure that you submit a copy of your most updated study plan (signed by your SEP Department co-ordinator) to the Office of Undergraduate Programmes before leaving for your SEP.
