If there are too many applicants for one institution, students are selected according to academic merit, rankings of universities by students, restrictions from the partner universities as well as the eligibility of the students. When approving a student’s application for exchange, consideration is also given to his or her ability to be a good ambassador for NUS.

(i) Agreement to the extension at the Partner University; and

(ii) Approval from the home department on the study plan during the extended SEP period.

Withdrawal from SEP

If you decide to withdraw, you should send in a formal request with your withdrawal reason(s) via email to Ms Dawn Chia for consideration and copy the email to your department coordinator.

An admin fee of $200 applies if you choose to withdraw from SEP after accepting the internal offer in OPAS.
