Introduction

The NUS / Georgia Tech Special Term Programme is another initiative that provides an opportunity for Faculty of Engineering (National University of Singapore) students to tap into the Georgia Tech educational programme. Students will benefit from the exposure to a different kind of academic experience and also the cross-cultural exchanges that can take place through the interaction with the Georgia Tech students and faculty members.

Programme Highlights

  • Programme open to all Stage 2 and 3 Engineering students

  • Organized field trips to industrial sites in Beijing and Singapore

  • Free time for independent travel in Beijing

Programme Costs

NUS participants will only have to pay tuition fees (special term) to NUS. Those who are participating in the optional history tour in Beijing will have to pay for traveling and accommodation expenses.

Course Information

This programme takes place in two locations in the Asia region, one in Singapore and the other in Beijing. The courses offered under this programme can be recognized as part of the University curriculum. Some of the courses can be used to count towards the technical electives or the breadth electives of the various Engineering Department.

It is the student's responsibility to ensure that his NS will not clash with the Beijing leg as that will take priority over this programme and NUS will not provide any exemption letters.
