As a leading global school in Engineering centred in Asia, NUS Engineering has been reaching out and forging ties in the region and beyond. It currently has links with tertiary institutions in various countries in the world, ranging from research collaborations, student exchange programmes to joint and double degree programmes.

In Asia, the Faculty has established strong ties with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Seoul National University, Waseda University, among many others. Other major international collaborations include joint and double degree programmes with University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA; Delft University of Technology, Germany, Imperial College London, United Kingdom, Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), as well as the French Grandes Ecoles. Student exchange programmes have also been established with major universities like Cambridge University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology and Johns Hopkins University.

Besides managing and facilitating visits to the Faculty, the Office of External Relations & Outreach (ERO) also organises visits by schools to the Faculty, as well as outreach activities and programmes. Please click on Outreach Activities for more information on these activities.

The Faculty also works closely with the industry, as well as government agencies and ministries, such as Keppel Corporation, Economic Development Board, Land Transport Authority, Maritime and Port Authority, Singapore Aviation Academy, the Ministry for the Environment and Water Resources, and the Ministry of Defence.
