Congratulations to Dr Amit Jain on his promotion to Associate Professor with Tenure

D-ETM is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr Amit Jain to Associate Professor with tenure from Assistant Professor. He received his PhD in Management from INSEAD in 2009 and Doctorat (Sciences et Gestion) from Universite de Paris, Dauphine in 2011. His research interests includes organizational learning and forgetting, change and inertia in organizations, technological change and innovation and firm boundaries.

ICE/IEEE Conference 2016 "Prof. Bernhard Katzy" Best Paper Award
We are proud to announce that our PhD student, Ms Wang Bo, together with two faculty members, Dr Annapoornima M Subramanian and A/P Chai Kah Hin, have been awarded the "Prof. Bernhard Katzy" Best Paper Award during the 22nd International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation (ICE) / IEEE International Technology Management Conference for their paper titled “Technological Diversity and Firm Performance: The Role of Knowledge Base Homogeneity”. The award is awarded each year as part of the ICE International Conference following the criteria on scientific contribution, relevance in relation to practice, argumentation and evidence, scope of paper regarding the conference, and typography & aesthetics. Book traces Singapore’s research

A book which chronicles the course of Singapore’s research from its independence in 1965 was launched on 15 April 2016. Titled The Singapore Research Story, it is co-edited and co-authored by Professor Hang Chang Chieh, Executive Director of NUS Institute for Engineering Leadership and Head of NUS Engineering and Tech Management; Professor Low Teck Seng, CEO of National Research Foundation (NRF) Singapore; and Mr Raj Thampuran, Managing Director of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research  (A*STAR).
