Director's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Engineering Science Programme (ESP) at the National University of Singapore.

In ESP you will work at the interface of engineering and science. You will get hands-on experience in a variety of design modules and projects and learn the scientific fundamentals in modules that are taught by award-winning faculties in NUS.

ESP is a relatively small family with around forty students per cohort. The small size will allow you to not only connect with your peers but also your professors in ESP to build a strong network for your future careers. Besides multidisciplinary knowledge and first-hand experimental experiences, you will also practice and improve a range of skills as well as learn to value responsible practice of engineering and life-long learning. These skills and attributes will put you in a pole position for your future careers in today’s fast-moving, technology-oriented society.
