The Faculty of Engineering at NUS, in 2009, had launched the Design-Centric Curriculum (DCC). Now known as the Design-Centric Programme (DCP), this different pathway to engineering education is spearheaded by the Engineering Design and Innovation Centre (EDIC). EDIC has space and customized physical infrastructure to facilitate effective delivery of DCP and the establishment of a culture of energetic interactions and collaborations among staff and students to encourage learning and innovation. EDIC provides an environment that promotes interaction and exchange of ideas among staff and students of different disciplines to address design problems and projects that require a wide spectrum of expertise.
