Faculty Positions in Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS)
The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering of NUS invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in the area of Structural Engineering. Candidates with expertise in concrete materials technology and/or techniques of certainty and risk analysis are preferred. The openings are at the Assistant Professor level, but exceptionally well-qualified applicants may also be considered at the Associate Professor level.
Postdoctoral experience and industrial experience are highly desirable. The successful candidate must be able to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and develop an active and significant research programme including securing research grants.
The initial appointment is normally on a 3-year contract. The remuneration package is internationally competitive. An annual base salary is paid. Faculty members who are not Singapore citizens or Singapore Permanent residents may receive, in lieu of provident fund benefits, a monthly Special Payment for Foreign Staff
Newly recruited tenurable staff members are eligible for start-up grants to facilitate the establishment of their research development in NUS without undue delay.
