The Faculty of Engineering (FoE) aims to bring out the best in our students and prepare them to be engineer-leaders in their professional areas and the larger community. In their time with us, they will have ample opportunities to develop their character as well as their minds, to experience the heat and strife of competition as well as the pride and glory of achievement, to form bonds of friendship and loyalty among themselves as well as with our Faculty as one big, learning, sharing Engineering family, and to give back to society within our shores and beyond.

Recognizing the importance of helping students achieve these aims, the Office of Student Life (OSL) was set up at the Faculty of Engineering on 1 July 2011.  Headed by a Vice Dean and supported by dedicated staff, Student Life works closely with Engin Club, Sub Clubs, NUS Career Centre and FoE Departments to enhance the educational and social environment to make the Faculty of Engineering a truly more fun, vibrant and exciting place for teaching, learning and social activities.

So, Welcome to Student Life.  Prepare, Enjoy, Involve and Inform Yourself. The goal of Student Life is to provide our student family with the total FoE experience. That means supporting student opportunities for learning, involvement, leadership, community building, and creative expression that go way beyond the classroom.
