Foundation Modules (for BTech applicants and members of the public)
The modules available are Mathematics, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

For applicants preparing for the NUS BTech programme
The Foundation Modules is a refresher course, designed to complement the NUS Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Programme – a long-standing fully accredited engineering degee programme designed for polytechnic graduates working in industry. The Modules are structured to strengthen foundation in mathematics and basic engineering studies so that potential students would be better able to cope with the rigours of the BTech Programme if they are admitted. These Modules are optional and attendance is not required for admission. It is entirely up to each applicant if he/she wishes to attend.

For diploma holders or those pursuing other engineering programmes
To be well prepared for and to do well in a good engineering course in a university, a strong foundation in mathematics & engineering is necessary. Thus, these Foundation Modules are also open to those not undertaking the NUS BTech programme; being suitable for diploma holders intending to pursue further university education either locally or overseas.
