NUS Double Degree with French Grandes Écoles

NUS has set up Double Degree programmes with French Grandes Écoles, École Polytechnique (X), École Centrale de Paris (ECP) and Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité (Supelec), with a provision of up to 2 students per university per year. Under this arrangement, a Singaporean/PR student will graduate with a double degree, Diplome d'Ingenieur (from X or ECP or Supelec) and M.Eng. or M.Sc. (from NUS) and B.Eng. (from NUS for engineering students), after 5 years of studies.

1	Faculty of Science/Engineering at NUS  French language classes at Alliance Française (32 hours)  4-week language & cultural immersion in France during vacation (100 hours)  Special Maths & Physics classes from 2nd semester onwards
2	Faculty of Science/ Engineering at NUS  French language classes at Alliance Française (128 hours)  12-week language & cultural immersion in France during vacation (300 hours)  Special Maths & Physics classes        (Entrance examination)
3	Year 1 at French Grandes Écoles
4	Year 2 at French Grandes Écoles
5	Master of Engineering/ Science at NUS
Degree Awarded	Diplome d'Ingenieur (X or ECP or Supelec)      M.Eng. or M.Sc. (NUS)      B.Eng. (for NUS Engineering students only)

The double degree programme provides the opportunities to learn from the best of both worlds, exposure to foreign culture, networking with Singaporeans and foreigners, and proficiency in a third language.
